1. Introduction
This module mainly uses the high precision clock chip DS3234. It is a low-cost, ultra-high precision, SPI-bus real-time clock (RTC) that integrates temperature compensated crystal oscillators (TCXOs) and crystals. The DS3234 also integrates 256 bytes of SRAM. When the main power supply is powered down, the contents of the memory are maintained by connecting to the V BAT pin. RTC can count seconds, minutes, hours, weeks, dates, months and year information. For less than 31 days of the month, the device can automatically adjust the date at the end of the month, but also has a leap year correction function. The clock can be operated in 24 hours or with the AM / PM indication of the 12-hour format. The device provides two programmable timer alarms per day and one programmable diode output. The address and data are transmitted serially through the SPI bi-directional bus.
