1. Overview
This is a commonly used passive buzzer module, which mainly uses 12*8.5MM 5V 2K passive buzzer components. The passive buzzer component doesn¡¯t have an oscillating circuit inside. When controlling, we only need to input a square wave (voltage 5V) of different frequencies to the positive side of the buzzer component, and the negative pole is grounded, which controls buzzer to sounds at different frequencies. The center frequency of this component is 2KHz. There is a one-to-one correspondence between the driving frequency of the passive buzzer and the frequency of occurrence, that is, the square wave whose driving frequency is 2KHz, and the sound frequency is also 2KHz.
The module is compatible with various microcontroller control boards, such as the series of microcontrollers for Arduino. The module comes with a 2.54mm anti-reverse plug white terminal. When in use, we can connect to the MCU with DuPont cable. To facilitate wiring, we also specially designed an expansion board that is fully compatible with this module and the Arduino UNO R3 microcontroller. We only need to stack the expansion board to the UNO R3 MCU, and use a 3P double-head XH2.54 plug wire (anti-reverse) to connect to the expansion board, which is simple and convenient.
At the same time, the module comes with 4 3mm diameter positioning holes, which allows you to fix the module to other devices.
